I currently have a few options to help you and your horse’s needs.
One option is for me to come to where your horse is stabled (onsite) for an evaluation. This option will help me see your horse’s environment and helps with most behavioral Issues. Onsite evaluation and training is great for a horse with layers of issues and is eye opening to the owner. It also has multiple learning opportunities for both horse and owner. With this option both horse and owner are trained. For onsite training I do not need to be there every day. I have done anywhere from 1 session a week to 5 sessions a week. It all depends on your budget and how much homework you do with your horse in-between sessions. Drilling horses for hours does not need to be done to achieve what we are looking for. Most of the time less is more when you want the training to be effective.
The second option is offsite training at my other job in Lee, N.H. This option is great for young and/or green horses who need to be backed or want a restart/refresher. It is an excellent opportunity for a horse to get more confidence and experience away from where they are boarded. During the offsite training your horse will be exercised from the ground till they show me their body and mind are ready to be backed. They will be handled daily and multiple times a day. Exercising/training will be done 5 days a week or more if I feel the horse needs it. Owner is offered to come a few times for a couple of lessons with their horse.
The final option is for a phone and/or video evaluation and training. Or even just a consultation. This is usually best for those who are farther away from my travel radius or if their horse needs help and they can’t afford onsite training. I am very flexible with this option as i know its not easy but i want to help horses and their owners as much as possible.
